OUR TEAM AND WHAT WE DO
LOUISE LYNCH - BANK MANAGER
Louise is the team leader. She is essentially responsible for being in charge of the bank and for guiding the team. She chairs regular meetings and ensures that jobs are delegated fairly amongst bank members and that The RiverBank is run as effectively as possible.
KARENA CURTIN - ASSISTANT BANK MANAGER
Karena’s duty is to assist and support Louise in running the bank and guiding the team. In Louise’s absence she fulfils the role of the bank manager. It is also her duty to play the role of the financial controller in Kate’s absence.
KARLA O'SHEA - SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Karla is responsible for promoting the school bank. She comes up with fresh, new and innovative ideas to help promote our bank. She created and designed our mascot and is in charge of creating all our posters, flyers, making intercom announcements, presentations and ensuring that everyone is aware of our bank and of our events. She is in charge of using our budget to its maximum potential. She also works with Leah in promoting our bank on social media sites.
KATE BRADY - FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Kate oversees all transactions when the bank opens every Tuesday. She records all transactions into a ledger and counts and verifies that the money we have received in lodgements, when added together, matches the figures on the lodgement slips. She then signs the ledger. She is also responsible for keeping an accurate account of the money spent by The RiverBank and any sponsorship money received.
LYNN O'RIORDAN - CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Lynn is responsible for dealing with and interacting with our customers when The RiverBank is open. She provides an excellent service, explaining business terms and answering any queries that students may have. She is also responsible for mobile banking. This is where she goes from classroom to classroom when the bank opens on Tuesdays so students who have for e.g. forgotten that The RiverBank is open.
LEAH KELLEHER - DIGITAL OFFICER
Leah’s duty is taking control of all the I.T. aspects of the bank. She is responsible for organising and creating The Riverbank’s webpage and is chiefly responsible for updating our Facebook, Twitter, Vine, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat pages. She is responsible for taking and uploading pictures of our parties and our other events and responsible for updating our customers on all our social media sites. As she is also an expert when it comes to technology, she is responsible for organising the creation of our The RiverBank App and for the creation of our QR codes.
SARAH SWEENEY - BANK ASSISTANT
Sarah is the newest member of the team. She assists the other team members in completing their tasks. She is in charge of getting prizes for competitions & has aided in creating this website.
